Welcome to the Southern Cruisers Riding Club McAlester, SE - OK - Chapter 132.
Chapter 132 was started in the late 90's. We are one of 500 plus chapters that just like to ride. In a SAFE AND FUN atmosphere. There are approximately 500 SCRC members in the State of Oklahoma at this time and approximately 34,000 SCRC members worldwide. SCRC is a riding club. SCRC hosts and attends events that benefit St. Jude's and other various charitable organizations in the communities. Members of the SCRC love to ride. It makes no difference if you have a scooter or a big bike, the SCRC was formed for those who love to get out, grab some wind and enjoy the out-doors, but most of all, enjoy the ride.
2014 - 2015 Proud Caretaker of Spencer's Vest!
Spencer was a patient at St Jude Children’s Cancer Center in Memphis. He always wanted to ride a motorcycle, but did not survive to accomplish this wish. A leather jacket was purchased and travels among Southern Cruisers Riding Club chapters throughout the Nation and Canada to fulfill his dream. The Jacket is auctioned off at the SCRC National Rally each year to help raise money for St. Jude Children Hospital in Memphis. This year our local SCRC chapter in McAlester - Southeastern Chapter 132won the jacket at the 2014 SCRC National Rally in Lexington, Kentucky held in September.
SCRC charity of choice is "Riding for a Cure" for St. Jude Children's Hospital. So far SCRC has raised over Two Million Dollars for St Jude! McAlester Chapter 132 will have the jacket until the next National Rally to be held in 2015 at Orange Beach, Alabama. Pictured with Spencer's Jacket are some of our members of McAlester SCRC Chapter 132.
Chapter meetings are held the 1st Friday of every month at Western Sizzlin in McAlester at 6 pm. Come join us and ride for a cure!

The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is a Free, Family Oriented Motorcycle Riding Club that uses the Web to communicate and focuses on the Enjoyment and Fellowship of Riding Motorcycles while doing so Safely. The Southern Cruisers is not an Internet club for Motorcycle Enthusiasts. The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is for everyone who enjoys riding with a club, and our club Policies are very simple.
No Dues or Fees!
However, we do ask a few things from our members: Always ride safe! Always ride safe, represent our club in a positive way. Support Your Club and Chapter. We just want to ride for the thrill of riding. Most of our trips will be local and not 500 miles from here. So whether you ride a Harley, Honda, Kawasaki or any other Street Legal motorcycle, you will always be welcome at the Southern Cruisers Riding Club. The cost for membership is FREE. Our Club Patch is optional and is available for purchase at the online store. The SCRC is involved with charity fund raising rides, local and long distance rides, overnighters and club dinner rides, and of course the unknown rides which may lead us anywhere. We also promote Motorcycle and Public Safety rules, And under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we be involved in any illegal activities.
